The England–Scotland football rivalry is the oldest international fixture in the world, first played in 1872 at Hamilton Crescent, Glasgow. The history of the British isles had led to much rivalry, one reason due to Scottish nationalism which has been a factor in the Scots' desire to defeat England above all other rivals, with Scottish sports journalists traditionally referring to the English as the "Auld Enemy. This time round will be held on Scottish soil. This will be the biggest atmosphere in the sporting calendar.

Since the Champions League began, no side has been able to win it two years in a row. That may well be a record that is consigned to history when Real Madrid bid to retain their title against Juventus. They have already won the World Club Championship and La Liga so this could prove to be the most successful season ever for Real. However, Juventus are in their second final in three years and will prove a tough team to crack.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has the chance to appease his fans as he takes on English Champions Chelsea in the final of the FA Cup this weekend. Tottenham fans may be fearing their title challenge isn’t going to win them a trophy, but at least they should finish ahead of rivals Arsenal. The Gunners pipped them for second place last season but going into this game, Tottenham are 14 points clear of Arsenal but still four adrift of league leaders Chelsea. They need to win this match to keep the pressure on Chelsea, while their opponents can’t afford to drop points as they try to get a top four finish.
